Chilly Billy
So chilly here on Mersea Island, but the frost does look rather beautiful...x
Just to update you followers - the NSPCC Fair was really fun. On my stall I had my fantastic Mummy, my Charlie boy and my Loobie Loo to help.
We had a very busy time and sold lots of my gorgeous pieces, in fact I had to call my wonderful Daddy to come and restock our little store of goodies!!xxx
A total of over £2000 raised for a fantastic cause - well done everyone!
Have a great weekend!
Love to you all....x

Norfolk Mini Break
We stayed in Burnham Deepdale Backpackers Hostel, which I have to say was very swish, with our own bathroom.
It was really good fun cooking and socialising with everyone in the large barn/ lounge area.
Norfolk was as delightful as ever, with gorgeous coves, big sandy beaches, moderate waves and happy faces.
Charlie enjoyed kiting and body boarding.
My special friend Rachael who was staying in Wells said we must go to The Hoste Hotel in Burnham Market. Wow loved it....x
Charlie and I spent a very happy few minutes in The Big Blue Sky, Wells. A fascinating shop with everything made in Norfolk.
We visited Walsingham and took the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway, a 30 minute journey to the seaside and harbour town of Wells, from the picturesque town of Walsingham, famed for centuries as a centre of pilgrimage.
It was a scenic journey with five bridges through lovely countryside with breathtaking creatures including an inquisitive hare, quails, pheasants and mother hen with her chicks...x
I have come back all inspired by the colours of the shore, marine shades of watery blue and green so I shall be using more for my statement pieces of up-cycled vintage one off finds.
Till next time.
With love x

Cobmarsh Island, Essex

Hello peeps...
It was a beautiful evening on Friday.
Charlie and I stripped off at the houseboat beach and swam all the way from our island to the little island opposite called Cobmarsh.
The water was lovely and refreshing and the fish were nibbling Charlie's feet in the rock pools by the muddy salt marshes.
We beach combed a bit then marsh hopped, covered ourselves in warm mud and swum back ..... till next time x

My Burnt Hand
Hello my Dear peeps.
Such a lot has happened since my last blogging.
My Charlie has left his Junior school. He is such a star with a fantastic report to keep. He looked very handsome at the leavers disco and was rather popular with the girls.
I've had a burnt right hand.....
(I was trying to make more candles for Jane's Art Studio).
I was a silly Mish as I was trying to fit too much into one day! LOL x
So now I have had some time on my (one) hand. I haven't been able to work which has been so infuriating as all these creative ideas have come into my head.
But I've been studying my paint charts every day and I have to tell you I have always had quite an obsession with them. Sometimes hoarding them until quite a pile gathers. I do find them very inspiring. What do you think of some of the names!!
- Borrowed Light
- Parisian Blue
- Cooking Apple Green
- Cinder Rose
- Ointment Pink and heres the best....
- Elephants Breath, thats a sort of Elephant colour !!. LOL
Anyway lovelies, thank you for all the good wishes and gifts I have received xx
Love Mish....x

Retail Concession Now Open in Art Studio
I am pleased to announce that some of my lovely items are on display at Jane Richardson's "Smart Art" studio in Church Road, West Mersea, Colchester.
Jane runs regular art classes for all ages.
If you are in the area why not pop in, have a polly poke nose and then a delicious ice cream in the nearby "Cake Hole".
